In celebration of the Philippines’ 126th Independence Day, JCI Senate Manila proudly joined the “Lakad Magkaibigan” walk held in June 2024 in Manila—a unity walk aimed at honoring the country’s history while promoting peace, solidarity, and national pride. Organized in collaboration with various civic organizations, government agencies, and diplomatic partners, the event brought together hundreds of participants to symbolically retrace the steps toward freedom and friendship. JCI Senate Manila’s presence highlighted its commitment to civic engagement, patriotism, and fostering meaningful connections within the community. As members walked side by side with fellow Filipinos and international allies, the event served as a powerful reminder of the enduring value of unity in diversity. Participating in “Lakad Magkaibigan” was not only a celebration of the nation’s heritage but also an embodiment of JCI’s mission to advance peace and understanding through purposeful action.
